Federal Income Tax Rates for Individual Returns in 2025

On October 22, 2024, the IRS released Revenue Procedure 2024-40, which describes items that will be adjusted for inflation in 2025.

Here are some of the adjusted values relevant to the calculation of your individual tax return.

The Standard Deduction

The Standard Deduction is a deduction from adjusted gross income available to taxpayers who do not itemize their deductions.
